Thumb Stabilizer [458]

This is the perfect solution for my thumb issue (tenosynovitis). I love McDavid braces and own several others. Sadly, within a few days of wearing this, one of the stabiliser bars is poking through the fabric at the tip of the thumb where the thumb strap velcro attaches. The velcro is already failing to stick securely. Once this wears through completely, the velcro for the thumb tip strap will not have a secure attachment. I take the brace off when I need any manual dexterity and can confirm that the brace has not been subjected to even normal wear and tear. It is a real shame because in every other respect, the brace is perfectly designed. It may be the batch of fabric used was faulty/weak but the result is unacceptable, particularly after such a short period of time. Without the flaw, I would give this 5 stars.
